Club Competitions Overview
Club Competitions are found in the Admin section of Byga. Club Competitions organize the club’s leagues and tournaments schedules.
This document is used to add competitions and manage existing competition schedules in Byga.
Manually Upload Competition
Enter the Competition Name which will appear in the Competitions list. For example, enter Open Rec League.
League List
The “Open Rec League” will appear in the competition list. The source will be BygaUploader. The club prefix needs to be included in the Competitions Settings under BygaUploader.
Prepare the upload file
The following is an example of the file format:
- Division: used for standings
- Game ID: need to be unique within the competition
- Date format: September 12, 2021
- Time format: 12:30 PM
- Duration: in minutes
- Home Team and Away Teams: for teams in the club, names will be automatically or manually matched
- Home Score and Away Score
- Field: Name of field
- Field Link: Used for Map link on
Correct Errors and Upload the File
The following steps are used:
- Delete header row and make sure columns match
- Make corrections inline then resubmit, or upload new file
- Once no errors are found, click the Upload button that appears.
By default, the upload will be treated as an incremental update. If you want all existing games to be deleted first and the upload to be a complete upload, click on the “Clear all games before uploading.”
