Player Pool Management

Player pools are used to organize player submissions into subgroups to help organize the players. These player pools are then utilized to sort players into teams.

Creating Player Pools

The Player Pool creation controls were moved to the Program Settings. The Pool creation process in Program Registrations is now similar to Tryouts.

To create player pools:

1. In the Registration Settings, click on the player pool tab and click on “Create registration pools.”

1. Select input items that will be helpful to sort players into teams (options include player birth year and gender and any multichoice, checkbox, or pulldown questions in the form)

1. Re-classify all entries and refresh to see the number of players in each pool

1. then refresh page to view the number of players in each pool

To create additional pools:

1. The process of creating pools can be repeated with additional different sets of form fields.
2. Delete any unneeded pool or start over by deleting all pools.

Program Management Access

Additional access control has been introduced.

Specific groups can be given access to run a specific program in addition to users that have permission to manage any program.

Users with the limited program access can view and manage player entries but are not granted access to program settings or financial data.
