TeamCFO Budget Planning

The team planning tab includes an itemized activity budget planning tool. This is used to itemize for tournaments, team activities, equipment needs, etc. These itemized activities may have costs included in the budgeting.



Note, a club can have the Team Budget Invoicing set in one of two modes (the first is default, if prefer the second, the club admin can request a change from Byga Support):

  • Admin approval and activation required: In this mode, managers (or roles with the permission) can be provided the capability to create a budget, have it reviewed, approved and activated by a club admin. They are not able to edit the budget line items.
  • Team role based approval and activation: In this mode, the responsibility is distributed to the appropriate team role.

Club Admin Only: In either mode, linking the team bank account to the team requires club admin permission.

For each budget / expense tracker, the following capabilities are available

  • Line Items: all expenses can be in one line item or broken down into individual line items.
  • Documents: upload any appropriate documentation (could be any useful document for participants about the planned events as well as receipts)
  • Players: specify amount for each player with options to auto-split, lock a player amount to consider credits or financial aid.

Itemized budget items can be assigned to some or all rostered players. Tools are available to split the payments, adjust and fix charges for some participants. The user can track payments.

Create New or Edit Existing Team Budget Invoicer

The additional setting is the destination for payments. Normally there is only one payment account for a given team but if more than one account is available, it can be selected here.

Participants can pay in multiple payments. Settings allow a minimum per payment to be specified.
