Setting up Scrimmages
Adding a scrimmage to game scheduling is performed through the following steps:
- Create a custom game/scrimmage event in the team calendar (make sure it is a home game). This step can be performed by either the team staff or the club scheduler.
- The team staff will email the club scheduler with the game details.
- The club game scheduler will then click on the event in the team calendar. They will notice an "Enable Scheduling" button.”
- When the club game scheduler clicks on the "Enable Scheduling" button this event will be added to the team’s scrimmages competition.
- The club game scheduler will review the Leagues tab in the Game Scheduling and confirm that the team is open for scheduling in the Scrimmages League. See image.
- The game is now available for the team staff (or scheduler) to select a field within the game scheduling system as they would with any league game.
Removing Schedule Scrimmages
With the right permission, a user can discard scrimmages that were enabled for home field reservation as long as there is no active field reservation. The appropriate event change notification will be triggered.
