Home Field Reservation: Leagues
The League tab provides an overview of each league and a quick access to each team’s field reservation. The following actions can be taken:
- Close / Open team for home field scheduling (either at the competition menu or a team menu within a competition
- Message teams (at the competition menu)
- Settings: is used to set per league info such as team budget and field size required
- Manage games: enables options for individual games (e.g., switch a game from away to home to be able to reserve a field)
- Go to team page: links to the team’s full calendar page
With message teams option, selection of all or a subset of teams participating in the competition is possible
Home Field Reservation: Tournaments
By default, tournaments are not enabled for home field reservations. In some cases, e.g., State Cup may be played as home games and need field reservation.
Enabling scheduling for a team or for all the teams in a tournament is available from the menus within the Admin → Competitions → Teams tab.
Open Game Scheduling
Prerequisite to start scheduling
- Game scheduling enabled for team/league
- At least one home game with no field request
Typical Flow of Field Requests
- New field request
- Manually by the scheduler OR auto approved
- Approved field request
- Automatic. Has to match the league details.
- Confirmed (it’s ready for ref. assignment)
- Ref. coord.
- Locked
- Rejected and Cancelled
Manage Games
Only home league games are available for scheduling by default
Schedulers have to flag the following for Game Scheduling:
- Any tournament games that need a home field
- Away games that need a home field
- Scrimmages and friendlies
